OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Criminal justice leaders are scheduled to speak in Marion County following the arrest of a convicted child killer from Kentucky.

State Attorney General James Uthmeier is set to speak at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 1 p.m. He’ll be joined by Prosecutor Brad McVay, Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney Bill Gladson, and Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods.

Earlier this month, Marion County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 42-year-old Ronald Exantus after they said he failed to register as a convicted felon in Florida within a 48-hour window.
