SABINE PARISH, La. (KALB) - A Zwolle police officer was shot at several times over the weekend, according to the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office.

SPSO said the shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday, October 26, while he was in his patrol unit on Hwy 171 near Old Pleasant Road. A dark-colored vehicle fled the scene after the shooting.
