The real “Madeline” is speaking out after Lily Allen alluded to estranged husband David Harbour’s affair in her album West End Girl.
In the bombshell album, which was released on October 24, Allen chronicles that late 2024 downfall of her marriage to the Stranger Things actor, whom she wed in 2020, and hints that jealousy, infidelity, and a poorly-defined open marriage led to their split.
In a song titled “Madeline,” Allen sings about an “arrangement” with her partner to sleep with other people but makes it clear that their rules were broken when her partner began a sexual relationship with a woman named Madeline. “We had an arrangement / Be discreet and don’t be blatant / And there had to be payment / It had to be with strangers / But you’re not a stranger, Madeline,” she sings.
