Dog lovers and craft beer fans came together in early October as the Dakin Humane Society hosted its 10th annual “Barks & Brews” fundraiser at Fort Hill Brewery in Easthampton.

The milestone event featured an exclusive VIP hour from 12 to 1 p.m., followed by general admission from 1 to 3 p.m. Guests aged 21 and over brought their well-behaved dogs, many dressed for the occasion, to enjoy an afternoon of contests, food trucks and shopping, all in support of animals in need.

VIP ticket holders enjoyed on-site parking, hors d’oeuvres, a complimentary beer, and an event t-shirt, while general admission guests received a free beer with their ticket.
