Police say they are searching for a 17-year-old girl from Richmond Hill, who they say has been missing since Monday morning.

Shu Tong was last seen in the area of Yonge Street and Devonsleigh Boulevard around 9:30 a.m. Monday, according to York Regional Police Staff Sgt. Jason Hayes.

Tong is described as five feet three inches tall and about 120 pounds, with brown eyes and long, straight, black hair, often kept in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweater, blue cargo pants, and light-grey sneakers, said Hayes.
