BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- As the Brunswick City Schools BEAT Video Program celebrated its 25th anniversary Oct. 25 with its first hall of fame induction ceremony since the COVID-19 pandemic, it was announced that one of this year’s inductees would be memorialized forever.
While introducing longtime local news reporter and former BEAT co-adviser Sam Boyer, Superintendent Jason Niedermeyer announced that the BEAT studios at the currently-under-construction Brunswick High School will be named in honor of Boyer.
According to 2020 Brunswick High School (BHS) graduate and 2015 BEAT Hall of Fame Inductee Nikki Rhoades, “Sam wasn’t just a mentor, she was an inspiration.”
