MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica ( KLTV/ Gray News) - Texas newlyweds who were enjoying their honeymoon in Jamaica are now bracing for impact as Hurricane Melissa makes landfall as the largest storm in the country’s history.

Kasydee and Hunter Bishop are in Montego Bay. The couple arrived for their honeymoon right before evacuation announcements came for Hurricane Melissa.

“It was wonderful, it was great. We spent the next couple of days spending time with family who traveled [for the wedding], and then we headed straight here. And just had no idea this was in the plans,” Hunter Bishop said.
