Martin O'Neill insists he has no regrets over his damning assessment of Celtic on talkSPORT - 24 hours after sweeping back into Parkhead. ‌

O'Neill was hastily appointed interim boss last night after Brendan Rodgers' explosive departure following a bitter boardroom fallout. ‌

But just hours before, the 73-year-old appeared on talkSPORT talking up Hearts' title chances and confessing that the Hoops were in trouble. ‌

O'Neill also rubbished Rangers' chances of a revival under Danny Rohl, claiming the Ibrox club "are no threat whatsoever."

The legendary Hoops boss confessed he would never have made those bold remarks had he known he was about to make a stunning return to the dugout.
