The Pakistan International Airlines has entered into a cargo agreement with Riyadh Air, the newly established Saudi Arabian airline.

According to a spokesperson for the national carrier, under the agreement, cargo will be transported from Pakistan and London to Riyadh, from where it will be distributed to other destinations through the combined networks of both airlines. The agreement will take effect on October 29.

The spokesperson said the arrangement aims to expand PIA’s cargo operations and increase the airline’s revenue. The collaboration is also intended to help meet the rising global demand for air freight services.
