The Saints have had enough of the Spencer Rattler experience.
The team informed Rattler they were making Tyler Shough the starter going forward after a 1-7 start to the season, according to multiple reports.
Shough, a 26-year-old rookie out of Louisville, saw his first significant playing time of the season when he replaced an ineffective Rattler during Sunday’s 23-3 loss to the Buccaneers.

Shough did not come in until late in the third quarter but still threw 30 passes, completing 17 of them, and was intercepted once while failing to lead New Orleans to any points.
“Tyler went in there and looked the part,” Saints coach Kellen Moore told reporters after the game on Sunday.
