Fans of Indian cricket were worried as Shreyas Iyer was admitted to the ICU of a Sydney Hospital due to a rib cage injury. It seems he had ruptured his spleen, which caused some internal bleeding. The doctors have now stopped the bleeding and he has been moved to a private room from the ICU. They did a couple of tests and the results are positive. He is recovering well, and they shared a picture of him smiling on the hospital bed. The secretary of BCCI, Devajit Saikia confirmed the same in a statement to the press. This has made fans heave a sigh of relief.
