A man from India has been charged after he allegedly stabbed two minor victims during a flight.

Praneeth Kumar Usiripalli, 28, faces federal charges for assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm while traveling on an aircraft.

The alleged incident occurred on board a Lufthansa flight from Chicago to Germany. He was arrested on Oct. 25.

Usiripalli allegedly stabbed two 17-year-old male passengers, one in the shoulder area and another in the back of the head.

When flight crew members attempted to subdue Usiripalli, he allegedly raised his hand, formed a gun with his fingers, put it in his mouth and pulled an imaginary trigger, prosecutors said.
