As Cyclone Montha advances toward the East Coast, the Indian Railways has gone into full preparedness mode to minimize disruption and ensure passenger safety. In anticipation of the storm’s impact, war rooms have been activated at the Divisional, Zonal, and Board levels, enabling real-time coordination and rapid response across affected regions.

According to official sources, essential resources and manpower have been strategically deployed at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Guntur. Railway officials are maintaining round-the-clock vigilance, focusing on ensuring seamless communication and operational readiness to tackle any emergency that may arise during the cyclone’s landfall.
