CATONSVILLE, Md. —
Drop the pumpkins!
Teams of students at Western Tech tested their inventions with the annual 80-foot drop of pumpkins.
The students, dressed in costumes, put their physics lessons to the test to protect your pumpkin, and see why some survived and others didn't.
Physics teacher Dr. Gary Mercer said the purpose was to learn the engineering and design processes, as well as physics theory.
Principal Jewell Ralph explained how the event provides an opportunity for students to use their physics skills and put their lessons to the test.
Great job, students!
