The St. Louis Blues placed forward Jake Neighbours on injured reserve with a right leg injury, the team announced Tuesday.

The team said that Neighbours will be re-evaluated in five weeks.

Neighbours suffered the injury during the Blues game against the Detroit Red Wings last Saturday.

The 23-year-old forward has posted six goals and seven points during eight games.
