SEYMOUR – An Austin man is facing multiple felony charges after being arrested Friday in connection with a string of burglaries in downtown Seymour.
Jeremy Scott Gibson, 34, was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown at 2:06 p.m. on Friday. He is being held without bond.
According to a news release from Lt. C.J. Foster, city patrol officers and investigators initially responded to a burglary reported in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street. During the investigation, a suspect description was obtained.
Authorities determined that the same suspect had attempted to burglarize a second location in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street and taken items from a third location in the 400 block of West Tipton Street.
As officers followed up on the information, Gibson was located
