DALLAS — Home sales increased 4.9% in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same time last year, while median prices remained relatively stable in Texas, a new quarterly report by Texas Realtors shows.
The Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metropolitan area saw the highest median home price in the state at $439,000, Wichita Falls had the lowest at $203,500.
“Texas is such a great place to call home,” said Christy Gessler, Chairman of Texas Realtors. “Our pro-business, pro-job atmosphere supports our state’s robust economy, and Realtors are key contributors to this economic growth that is not just good for homesellers but also for the entire community."
