To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the State’s foundation, the Culture department will organise Ninaad – Himalayan Art, Music and Culture Festival from November 1 to 9 at the Himalayan Cultural Centre (HCC). Culture secretary Yugal Kishore Pant said this while addressing the media here on Tuesday.

Pant highlighted that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the State’s foundation, prompting the department to organise the Ninaad festival during the specified dates at HCC. Different sessions will be held during the nine days of the festival. Each session will showcase Uttarakhand’s folk culture, classical music, theatrical performances and cultural discussions.
