Zion Williamson sprinted up and down the court at the New Orleans Pelicans’ practice facility Tuesday morning.

It was a good sign for Williamson, who missed Monday night’s loss to the Boston Celtics with a bone contusion on his left foot.

Williamson was limited in Tuesday’s practice and is “questionable” for the Pelicans’ Wednesday night road game against the Denver Nuggets.

“Right now we’re in a day-to-day thing,” Williamson said. “But nothing major. Nothing that is going to keep me out for a long time. Just day to day.”

Williamson said he injured the foot in Friday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs on a putback dunk. He stepped on the foot of Spurs’ center Victor Wembanyama when he landed.

“Landed on someone’s foot and the side of my foot just banged the ground,” Williamson said.
