Former NFL running back Adrian Peterson is in trouble with the law again following an arrest over the weekend.

The seven-time Pro Bowler was apprehended by police in Sugar Land, Texas, on Sunday and has since been charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

The authorities weren’t immediately forthcoming with details of the arrest, noting an investigation was still ongoing. However, TMZ has since learned that the 40-year-old was found slumped over the wheel of his car at a gas station, providing photos.

According to the witness who supplied the images, Peterson’s engine was running and his phone was in his hand while he slept.
