More than 250 people turned up to meet their Perth Scorchers heroes at Golden Bay’s Shipwreck Cove last week for the first community fan day of the summer.

Hosted by Perth Scorchers principal partner Peet, the free family event provided children of all abilities the opportunity to learn directly from professional players, including Mahli Beardman, Bryce Jackson, and Jhye Richardson.

Peet WA State manager Paul Morgan said the fan days had quickly become one of the most anticipated events on the summer calendar.

“The community fan days are a cornerstone of our partnership with the Perth Scorchers, and this event truly captured the vibrant community spirit we have here at Golden Bay,” Mr Morgan said.
