Pittsburgh's Action News 4 visited the West Allegheny School District to surprise the WTAE Teacher of the Month for February 2025.

Lyndy Stout, a fifth-grade teacher at Donaldson Elementary in the West Allegheny School District, is known for her daily source of kindness, encouragement and inspiration.

Her approach to education has also influenced her daughter to follow in her footsteps within the same district.

Mr. Rogers famous theme song is a constant calming presence for Mrs. Lyndy Stout's classroom. As she taught a science lesson, none of her class realized administrators had a plan to help Pittsburgh's Action News 4 shower her with that same love during a school assembly.
