Rachel Moore, the mother of Tristan Hollis, the 17-year-old who died in a Hartselle car crash on Sept. 6, has sued the city of Priceville and others.
Hollis was killed during a crash with Archie Hale. Hale, who was suspected of driving under the influence, was fleeing from Priceville Police Officer Garry Chapman when his car hit the vehicle carrying Hollis and three others. Hollis was killed, three other teens were injured.
In the suit filed on Oct. 27 in Morgan County Circuit Court, Moore is seeking monetary compensation from the city of Priceville, Chapman, Hale, and the company that insured the vehicle Hollis was in that night, Progressive Insurance Company.
