KANNUR: Report submitted by the Kannur Central Jail Superintendent two and a half months ago against the convicts in the TP Chandrasekharan murder case has been released amid the prison department's move to release them. The report states that Kodi Suni and Kirmani Manoj were involved in drug use and sale inside the prison and were constantly violating discipline.
It was based on this report that Kodi Suni was transferred from Kannur to Tavanur jail last month. The prison department's move to release the prisoners was made while this report was pending.
