Before that, Los Angeles Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto plunked George in Game 2, a moment that sent Rogers Centre into a frenzy.
A still shot of that moment made the rounds on social media, showing Springer looking quite distressed as he gets hit by a pitch.
Unfortunately for George Springer, who was cheered on by Mariners fans for being hurt, social media has turned on him and called him out for cheating yet again.
