Sky Ranger, NBC10 Boston's news helicopter, had to make an emergency landing in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon.

NBC10 Boston can confirm our helicopter needed to land due to a problem with the aircraft. The crew landed safely and there are no injuries.

Chelsea police confirmed they observed the chopper in the sky before it landed in an open area on Marginal Street

"I was observing it and something didn’t look right, it was teetering a little bit and there was a little bit I observed of what I appeared to be a little bit of smoke coming out of the tail section of it and then I saw it go down," explained Sgt. Jose Otero.
