The 8 th annual celebration of our local natural world is happening on River Ridge Ranch in Springville on Saturday, November 1, from Noon – 5 p.m. . Expect temperatures around the mid-80s, along with an abundance of smiles and laughter.
The Foothills Festival combines music, arts, food, activities and education with a chance to visit a private, protected ranch.
River Ridge spans 722 acres, offering full protection, and is surrounded by the vast Sequoia National Forest and the Giant Sequoia National Monument, which together cover 1.3 million acres. The North Fork Tule River runs through the site, which is home to bear, deer, lion, coyote, gray fox, badger, ring-tail cat, raccoon, skunk and more than 100 species of birds. You can hike from 1,000 to 3,000 feet
