A powerful cold front with cooler weather moved across North Texas Tuesday with a very strong northwest wind. A WIND ADVISORY is in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday. Gusts to 45 mph will be possible.
It will be quite chilly Tuesday night into Wednesday morning with lows falling into the 40s! Highs on Wednesday will only climb into the lower-60s and a brisk north wind will continue.
The gusty winds will subside Wednesday night with much lighter winds Thursday and Friday. Our chilliest mornings will be Wednesday and Thursday with lows in the mid-30s out west, and lower 40s elsewhere.
Dry and cool weather will be in place the rest of the week. Friday (Halloween) will be beautiful with a high near 70 and evening temperatures falling through the 60s.
