The United Way of the Flint Hills Food Relief Rapid Response Team, formed due to a temporary halt in SNAP benefits, is now accepting donations to feed families affected by the suspension.
Monetary donations can be given by texting GIVEUWFH to 44321 or visiting www.unitedwayoftheflinthills.org/form/Donate . Food donations can be dropped off at The Salvation Army, located at 327 Constitution Street. For a list of acceptable food donations, email info@uwfh.org . Any donations received will be given to struggling families regardless of whether or not SNAP benefits are reinstated.
