Moyra Glaister Chisholm, nee Boyd, passed away on October 23, 2025, after a long battle with dementia. She was a beloved wife to Henry, and mother to Kenneth, Stewart, and Andrew. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Brownwood, surrounded by family and caretakers.
Moyra was born on November 11, 1934, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to John and Janet (Nettie) Boyd. After spending her childhood in Canada, she met Henry Norwell Chisholm in Montréal, in 1955. They fell in love soon after and moved to Scotland where they wed on August 2, 1955. They were married at the church in Moneydie where her father-in-law was presiding reverend. They would spend the next 14 years in Scotland, welcoming Kenneth and Stewart into their family while Henry led several church parishes as minister.
