MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Wisconsin men’s basketball team announced a roster change on Tuesday, as Temple senior transfer Elijah Gray was dismissed.

Wisconsin Athletics stated forward Elijah Gray was dismissed due to “events preceding his enrollment at UW-Madison.”

The athletic department did not give a specific reason, citing privacy laws.

His name was removed from the Badgers roster.

Gray came to Madison as a four-year transfer this summer. He did not play a game for the Badgers.

According to Temple stats, Gray appeared in 25 games during the 2024-25 season as a key reserve and averaged 9.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. He shot .481 from the field, .304 from three-point range and .750 from the free-throw line
