The marathon Game 3 of the World Series lasted until 2:51 a.m. ET on Tuesday — nine minutes until midnight here on the West Coast — leaving a lot of sleep-deprived fans in its wake. The 18-inning, six-hour and 39 minute game, the longest in World Series history, ended when Canadian international Freddie Freeman hit a home run to lift the L.A. Dodgers over the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5.
And now they do it all against Tuesday night in Game 4.
