Glasgow fave Sugo is set to open a new restaurant after signage appeared at a west end spot.
The pasta restaurant, which currently operates on Mitchell Street in the city centre , has installed signage at the former Zizzi on Cresswell Lane.
Zizzi closed its west end restaurant suddenly earlier this year, on July 31, without any warning .
Now, just three months later, the empty restaurant is set to be brought back to life, with the signs teasing that Sugo will be "coming soon" to the spot.
Sugo was taken over by the owners of Di Maggio’s, Café Andaluz, and Amarone, Mario Gizzi and Tony Conetta, in June last year, and the ambitious new owners revealed plans to expand the popular eatery .
