MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man accused of killing a rapper and injuring another in a brazen shooting in downtown Memphis was issued a $10 million bond by a judge Tuesday, the Shelby County District Attorney's Office says.

Kevin “KJ” Brown Jr., 23, of Memphis, was arrested Oct. 22 by U.S. Marshals in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Brown is charged with first-degree murder, two counts of felony criminal attempt, two counts of employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property.

The March 22 shooting outside the Westin Hotel near FedExForum killed Latorian Hunt, a Memphis rapper known as Sayso P, and critically wounded Albert Mondane, a Houston rapper known as Sauce Walka.
