DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado is getting a brief taste of winter-like temperatures with a hard freeze expected in the Denver weather forecast overnight Tuesday.
Residents should bring inside or cover up sensitive plants. A freeze warning is in effect for the metro Denver region.
Weather tonight: Hard freeze
Temperatures will fall into the 20s and 10s across Colorado by sunrise Wednesday morning, with metro Denver falling into the lower 20s. Some locations on the eastern plains will dip into the teens, with teens likely in many mountain locations.
Although winds will be light in the metro, some areas of the mountains and southeast Colorado will have blustery conditions, making it feel much colder.
