Time is running out for fans of the Savannah Bananas to sign up for a ticket lottery for the team’s games at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.
After selling out Rate Field on the city’s South Side on back-to-back nights this summer, the Bananas will be heading to the Friendly Confines for the first time when they return to Chicago in 2026.
This time around however, the Bananas won’t be serving as the home team for the game.
When the team returns to Chicago July 24-26, they’ll be serving as the visitors, with the Firefighters serving as the home team for the three-game series.
While the two teams will still play the iconic brand of “Banana Ball” that has made the sport famous around the U.S., there will be Firefighters-centric features of the game programming, according to the Bananas’ ownership
