Midwest natives Caleb Hearon and Jaboukie Young-White will star alongside Zooey Deschanel in a new movie filmed and set in Chicago.

The movie, "Trash Mountain," is about a young gay man — played by Hearon — living in Chicago who goes back to his Missouri hometown after the death of his hoarder father.

Similar to the protagonist of the movie, Hearon is both gay and originally from Missouri.

"Incredibly grateful to be making our movie, Trash Mountain, in the beautiful city of Chicago right now," Hearon said in an Instagram story on Monday. "The people I've met and the things I've learned in Chicago over the years have been the foundation to my creative life. I owe this place and its artistic communities more than I could ever repay."
