WWE is claiming one of its singles champions is injured, but some are convinced it isn't legitimate. Ahead of the Oct. 21 episode of "NXT" WWE announced that Sol Ruca suffered an injury during a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match on "Friday Night SmackDown." Ruca and Zaria failed to capture the professional wrestling gold from Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.

Ruca then announced she was unable to defend the NXT North American Championship against Blake Monroe at "Halloween Havoc 2025." Zaria defended the gold in Ruca's honor, but she lost the title. Ruca, who is still the WWE Women's Speed Champion, took to her X account to post an update on her injury status.
