WASHINGTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a theft at the Glow Halloween drive-thru in Gloucester County after a suspect stole an employee's truck and narrowly missed hitting a worker while fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Black Horse Pike and Cross Keys Road.
According to Washington Township Police, the suspect was not affiliated with the haunted attraction and was not in costume.
"Me and my brother just arrived to work. We were working with his truck and moving stuff and getting ready to open up. In the five minutes we walked away from the truck, someone walked through our wooded area, they went through our storage stuff. Then hopped in his car and drove off the property," said Nick Michielli, an employee at Glow.
