CINCINNATI —

Eighty years after soldiers liberated 7,000 prisoners at Auschwitz in Poland, Cincinnati's Union Terminal is serving as the last stop of an international exhibit.

The exhibit, called Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away , opened on Oct. 18 and will remain in Cincinnati until next April. Advertisement

The artifacts include a variety of items from the Auschwitz concentration camps, including parts of the prisoners’ barrack, a gas mask used by concentration camp officers and personal belongings from those who were killed.

On Tuesday, WLWT was joined by Elizabeth Pierce with the Cincinnati Museum Center, who talked about the exhibit.
