Oct. 23 was a record-setting day for Clark College volleyball’s Taylee Wilson.

The sophomore setter from Central Point, Ore., became both Clark’s single-season and all-time leader in assists in a five-set road win over Umpqua.

Wilson broke the career record of 964 assists held by Megan Hess. She also surpassed the single-season mark of 615 set by Kinsey Pease in 2014.

Wilson finished the win over Umpqua with 29 assists and added 17 more in a three-set home loss Friday against Lane.

Sophomore libero Emelynn Cecil had 40 digs in the win over Umpqua, After adding 10 more against Lane, the Prairie High School grad ranks third all-time at Clark with 664 digs.
