Srinagar, Oct 28: A group of Basic Horticulture Training (BHT) and Basic Agriculture Training (BAT) aspirants on Tuesday appealed Director, Extension Education, SKUAST-Kashmir, to increase the number of seats and conduct another round of counselling to prevent loss of their academic year.
In a written representation addressed to Director Extension, the aspirants expressed gratitude for the university’s decision to conduct an additional counselling session held on October 28, 2025.
However, they said that only one seat was made available during the session, which was “insufficient” given the number of eligible candidates awaiting admission.
