The man suspected of murdering San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Nunez was identified by authorities Tuesday as a 47-year-old man who lived in an apartment close to where the deputy was shot.
Angelo Jose Saldivar was being treated for injuries he suffered when he was thrown from his motorcycle during a high-speed pursuit along the 210 Freeway Monday, and the Sheriffs' Department said he would be booked on suspicion of murder once released from a hospital.
