Saratoga Race Course served as pipeline to Breeders' Cup

The crowds are long gone, the leaves have turned, and in general the daily routine is quiet at Saratoga Race Course these days as the April-to-November training calendar winds down.

Still, that was almost half the field for the Breeders’ Cup Classic out on the Oklahoma Training Track as recently as last week, an illustration of how much Saratoga serves as a pipeline to the Breeders’ Cup.
