Rain, wind, and cold temperatures will all make for a raw stretch of late October weather.
A developing storm over Missouri will wrap up tonight, leading to windy weather tonight into Wednesday. The strongest winds will blow west and south of the Ozarks, where Wind Advisories are posted for gusts of 40 to 50 mph. We'll find strong winds locally as well, particularly over Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. Gusts will generally be between 30 and 40 mph, but stronger gusts up to 45 mph are possible from Springfield, south and west.
The wind will come with a steady rain tonight into Wednesday morning before tapering off to patchy areas of drizzle for the afternoon hours. The winds will ease as well, but remain brisk out of the north.
