PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- With one week to go before municipal general elections, some voters in the region are already casting their ballots.

"So much of what happens, happens on the small level, like the local government level," said Cayla McNally as she stopped by the satellite elections office in West Philadelphia on Tuesday morning.

Action News spotted several people in West Philadelphia turning in their ballots at the drop-off box outside the office.

"It is a big election," said Michael Tucker as he brought in paperwork for a family member. "It's very important. We're retaining Supreme Court judges. We're retaining municipal court judges."
