ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Ever since Diana Romero was taken by ICE outside of her son's preschool in Issaquah , "Kevin" has been taking care of her son.
Last week, KING 5 reported Diana Romero was on her way to drop her son off at The Learning Nest Preschool in Issaquah, when she was pulled over by people she suspected were ICE agents. They followed her to the preschool allowing her to drop her child off.
A ring doorbell mounted at the preschool's door captured Diana holding her son, speaking to someone behind the door. She said she suspected the people following her were ICE agents, and that she didn't know what to do. Other parents at drop-off corroborated this story, and saw Romero be loaded into an unmarked SUV.
Since then, Kevin, Romero's relative has been keeping things up to speed. He
