DILLON — Nichole Lynn Boyer of Lima, who is accused of killing her disabled toddler, stood before a judge in Beaverhead County District Court in Dillon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Boyer entered a not guilty plea to one count of deliberate homicide before Judge Luke Berger.
Her attorneys asked Judge Berger for a temporary release so that she could attend a memorial service for her son, which is scheduled for November 4th. The state attorneys objected to the request.

The judge has not yet ruled on the matter.
Judge Berger granted the defense's request not to cremate the boy's body until an expert can examine the evidence.
