NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. —
A man is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison after he allegedly met with an undercover officer to sell suspected heroin/fentanyl in North Huntingdon on Tuesday.
According to the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office, Yusuf Tinsley-Ewell, 29, of Braddock, arrived at a prearranged location in an Uber in North Huntingdon and was picked up by an undercover officer who set up a buy to purchase illegal drugs. Advertisement
The purchase was set up by police as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officials said Tinsley-Ewell allegedly exchanged 10 bricks of heroin/fentanyl for $1,800.
He was later arrested while leaving a retail store with $1,700 left in the prerecorded money used in the drug transaction.
