LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - First responders were honored by students and faculty at Pleasant Hill Elementary with a drive-through appreciation event to celebrate local heroes who keep the community safe.
Students lined up throughout the car line, waving handmade thank-you posters and offering pre-packaged treats and appreciation gifts.
The event is part of Pleasant Hill Elementary’s service learning program, which emphasizes empathy, civic engagement and real-world community impact.
